Abstract

This research aims to determine the form of persona deixis, place deixis and time deixis in the film entitled Don't Enter My House, which is shortened to JMR. This research uses data collection techniques, namely documentation techniques and combined with listening and note-taking methods. The data in this research are sentences contained in the JMR film dialogue. The data source used in this research is JMR films. This research uses the pragmatic theory proposed by Yule, namely deixis, the method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The results showed that the three forms of deixis were found in the JMR film, 6 forms of persona deixis were found. The first singular persona deixis found 5 forms of single persona deixis in the form of I totaling 110, saye totaling 15, my totaling 1, me totaling 1 and aku totaling 34. In this film found the use of English, namely I, my you and me. There are 6 forms of plural first person deixis, namely kite. Then there are 47 forms of deixis of the second singular person in the form of 7 of kau and 40 of you. There is 1 form of deixis of the second plural person in the form of you. There are 19 forms of singular third person deixis in the form of die. 8 forms of plural third person deixis in the form of die orang . The first singular and plural persona deixis function is to designate the speaker, the second person singular and plural deixis are to designate the person who hears, the third person singular and plural deixis are to designate the person being talked about. in place deixis there are 4 forms of place deixis in the form of kat sini totaling 3 and kat situ totaling 1. In time deixis there are 4 forms of time deixis in the form of now, later, that day and then.
