Survey research on the relationship between soil properties and productivity of nutmeg plants in Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province, namely in Mandolang District which is located at an altitude of 109-555 m asl. Soil analysis was carried out at the Soil Chemistry and Fertility Laboratory of the South Sulawesi Agricultural Technology Study Center. Soil samples were taken from each location in a composite manner for analysis in the laboratory. Soil analysis includes texture, pH, C-Organic, N-Total, P-Available, K Total, Ca, Mg, Na CEC, and Base Saturation. The results showed that the nutmeg planting area had a clay texture with slightly acidic to neutral pH, low C-Organic content and low N, P and K levels, high CEC and moderate base saturation values, high Ca and Mg levels while low Na content, so the soil characteristics in the nutmeg plantation area meets the requirements for nutmeg cultivation provided that it needs the addition of N, P and K fertilizers.en_US
