dc.description.abstractTechnological developments that are increasingly sophisticated in various fields can help humans carry out activities even with limitations. With the development of technology, many innovations can be applied to develop self-ability, one example is designing conventional wheelchairs to become automatic. For people with paralysis such as people with neurological disorders, people with paralysis of the legs to be able to move a wheelchair, at least one person is needed to help push the wheelchair. If no one is pushing the wheelchair, the wheelchair user must use his strength to move the wheelchair by hand. In this research a smart wheelchair has been developed to increase the mobility of the visually impaired, with the main driver of the wheelchair being the MY1012 250W24V dc motor and a lithium-ion battery as the power source. This study aims to analyze the effect of a load of 60, 70, 80 kg on the power and speed of electric wheelchair dc motors. From the research results, it can be seen that the greater the load, the greater the power consumption of the dc motor. As for speed, the greater the load, the slower it will be.en_US
