Hubungan Pasang Surut terhadap Larva Nekton di Danau Anak Laut Kabupaten Aceh Singkil
Abstract
The research was conduct in Anak Laut Lake, West Gosong Telaga Village, North
Singkil Subdistrict, Aceh Singkil District, Aceh Province the title is The
Correlation of Tidal to Nekton larvae. It was conducted in March April 2023.
Anak Laut Lake is a coastal lake commonly referred to a coastal lagoon. Water
conditions in coastal lakes are influenced by tides due to sea water entering the
lake. The environmental conditions of Anak Laut Lake which are influenced by
tides greatly affect the biodiversity, one of the biodiversity is nekton larvae. The
occurrence of changes in water level caused by tides make differences in the
presence and distribution of nekton larvae. The results of this research showed the
total of nekton spatially and temporally at high and low tide were 10 families and
10 genera consisting of 21,294 individuals of larval nekton. The highest spatial
abundance value was obtained at high tide at station III with a value of 297 and
the lowest at high tide at station II with a value of 184. While the highest temporal
abundance value was obtained at low tide in the Full Moon phase with a value of
581 and the lowest at low tide in the New Moon phase with a value of 53. With
the value of the diversity index (H') obtained spatially and temporally at high tide
and low tide is 1.09 1.76 included in the medium category. The correlation of
tides to the abundance and diversity of larval nekton is not related during high and
low tides. This is because during high and low tides, sea tide always to assist in
transporting nekton larvae. Unstable weather while sampling also affected the
abundance of larvae, which was not correlated between high and low tides.
Correlation of water quality parameters to abundance and diversity of nekton
larvae using PCA (Principal Component Analysis).
