dc.description.abstractThe wood processing plant named PT Bukit Intan Abadi is a factory engaged in wood processing that produces 2 types of wood, namely wood sheets and plywood. The production process of these two products is divided into 2 production areas, namely the Finger Joint Laminating Board (FJLB) and Plywood production areas. Based on the observation of the production area at this factory, it contributed to work accident cases with a total of 54 cases in the 2019-2022 period. The causes of work accidents in this factory are categorized into 2, namely human factors in the form of non-compliance with the application of PPE, working not according to SOP and lack of K3 knowledge. Environmental factors that cause work accidents are noise beyond the threshold, not holding OHS training and the unavailability of health facilities. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research with a quantitative approach because the data is presented in the form of a numerical recapitulation of the results of a closed questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the level of employee awareness of the application of OHS is low with a percentage of 32%. The level of awareness of the level of employee awareness of the application of K3 based on human factors is classified as moderate with a percentage of 35%, in terms of the use of apd is low with a percentage of 95%, work procedures according to the SOP are classified as moderate with a percentage of 34% and knowledge related to K3 is classified as moderate with a percentage of 39%. The level of awareness of the level of employee awareness of the application of K3 based on environmental factors is moderate with a percentage of 53%, in terms of noise in the workplace is low with a percentage of 40%, the provision of K3 training is moderate with a percentage of 70% and the availability of health facilities is moderate with a percentage of 39%.en_US
