Pengaruh Lebar Rongga Pemancar Sonar terhadap Ketelitian Pendeteksian Ikan
Abstract
Work as a fisherman has a dependence on marine resources. On the one hand, this dependence is beneficial because it is supported by abundant marine resources. One of the fishing aids that is very helpful is the fish finder, which is an electronic device that works by emitting ultrasonic waves and capturing the reflections back. Fish finder devices that are used to transmit waves and capture waves back are called transducers. In this research, the writer will modify the fish finder which is circulating in the market, the modification is carried out by concentrating the sonar beam and the writer will analyze the effect of sonar reading area on fish detection. This and study modifies variations in diameter of 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm. The results showed that there was a decrease in pond depth readings with an average of 1.41% in each test. There was a decrease in the percentage of fish readings and transmitter angle with an average of 25.7% in each test. The level of accuracy of measuring the depth of the pond will be better as the diameter of the sonar transmitter decreases and the percentage of fish readings and the angle of the transmitter will decrease as the diameter of the sonar transmitter decreases.
