Abstract

Milk is a high-protein drink that is often a staple for humans. Red bean milk powder is one of the plant-based products from red bean seeds. Red bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) has a complete amino acid composition, therefore milk powder is very good for consumption. Red bean milk powder can also be an alternative for people with lactose intolerance contained in animal milk. Red bean milk powder can also help the government in order to reduce the import of milk powder. The red bean milk powder manufacturing plant is planned to produce with a capacity of 19000 tonnes/year and operate for 330 days a year with a special task of engineering design of spray dryer details. The construction site of the red bean milk powder plant is planned to be located in the Subang Industrial Area, Subang Regency, West Java Province. The Red Bean Powder Milk Plant is planned to be built on a land area of 24041 m2. The planned form of business entity is a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a total workforce of 101 people. The results of the economic analysis of the Pre-designed Red Bean Powder Milk Plant :  Total Invested Capital : Rp 623,999,194,363  Total Production Costs : Rp 1,271,658,572,334  Sales Yield : Rp 1,520,006,400,000  Net Profit : Rp 165,056,305,398  Profit Margin (PM) : 10,84 %  Break Even Point (BEP) : 31,43 %  Return on Investment (ROI) : 26,12 %  Pay Out Time (POT) : 3,8 Tahun  Return on Net worth (RON) : 44,08 %  Internal Rate of Return (IRR) : 23,045 % From the results of the economic evaluation, it can be concluded that the Red Bean Powder Milk Manufacturing Plant is feasible to establish.
