Prarancangan Pabrik Pembuatan Pulp dari Kulit Jagung dengan Proses Soda dan Bleaching Menggunakan Enzim Lakase Kapasitas 73.500 Ton/Tahun ( Tugas Khusus : Rancangan Keteknikan Detail Reaktor Bleaching)
Abstract
Pulp from waste derived from corn husks is an alternative to wood which is
very promising in overcoming forest destruction and global warming. With abundant
and easy-to-obtain raw materials, corn husk pulp can become an economic
commodity thereby increasing income and expanding employment opportunities. The
resulting pulp product can be used as tissue paper, drawing paper with 75%
brightness. So it can also be used as magazine paper too. In addition, the bleaching
process uses laccase enzymes which are friendly to the environment and have no
long-term impact.
Pulp from corn husk and bleaching using laccase enzymes is produced with a
capacity of 73,500 tons/year with 330 working days in 1 year. The factory location is
planned in the Pulau Rakyat District area, Asahan Regency, North Sumatra
Province, with an area of 33,560 m2, a workforce of 180 which requires 180 people,
with the form of a Limited Liability Company (PT) business entity and with a line
and staff organizational system.
The results of the economic analysis of the Pulp Manufacturing Plant with
Soda and Bleaching Processes Using Laccase Enzymes are as follows:
Investment Capital =Rp. 1,132,973,547,431
Total Cost =Rp. 1,837,237,553,745
Sales results =Rp. 2,205,000,000,000
Net profit =Rp. 227,399,310,562
Profit Margins = 15.845%
Break Even Point = 30.872%
Return on Investment = 20.071%
Pay Out Time = 4 Year 9 Months
Return Out Network = 33.451%
Internal Rate Of Return = 19.253%
From the results of the economic analysis it can be concluded that the factory
for Manufacturing Pulp from Corn Husks with Soda and Bleaching Processes Using
Laccase Enzymes is feasible to establish.
