dc.description.abstractIn 2019, the world is faced with a terrible epidemic that has claimed many lives. This outbreak was also briefly declared as a global pandemic which had many impacts on many countries, including Indonesia. This outbreak is known as COVID-19 which causes sufferers to experience difficulty breathing and adsorbing oxygen in the air. One of the therapies used is oxygen therapy with almost pure quality. This makes liquid oxygen to be used as a product with excellent economic value. The liquid oxygen manufacturing plant is planned to produce with a capacity of 108.000 tons a year for 300 days in a year. This plant uses raw materials from the surrounding air as much as 547969,751 tons/year. The plant location is planned in Mororejo Village, Kaliwungu District, Semarang City, Central Java with the required land area of 7041 m2. The required number of employees is 124 people with the planned business form of a Limited Liability Company (PT) with a line and staff organizational system. The result of the economic analysis of the Preliminary Design of Air Separation Plant with Main Product being Liquid Oxygen are as follows :  Total Investment Cost = Rp. 154.131.703.592  Total Production Cost = Rp. 108.284.722.841  Sales Results = Rp. 214.289.518.239  Net Profit = Rp. 70.548.188.939  Profit Margin = 46,99%  Break Even Point = 48,75%  Return on Investment = 34,3%  Pay Out Time = 2,92 years  Return of Network = 57,17%  Internal Rate of Return = 30,51% Based on the economic analysis result, it is concluded that the Air Separation Plant with the Main Product being Liquid Oxygen is feasible to be established.en_US
