Pra Rancangan Pabrik Pembuatan Cocoa Powder dari Kakao (Theobroma cacao L.) Kapasitas 31.600 Ton/Tahun dan Tugas Khusus Rancangan Keteknikan Rotary Dryer

Abstract

Production of cocoa powder from cocoa beans (Theobroma Cacao L) using conventional methods. The cocoa powder factory is planned to produce with a production capacity of 31.600 tons/year using fermented dry cocoa beans as raw material of 43.356 kg/hour or as much as 379.798,56 tons/year. This factory is expected to meet the demand for cocoa powder in Indonesia and abroad

The planned form of business entity is a Limited Liability Company (PT). The planned organizational form is a line and staff organizational form with the required workforce of 118 people.

The results of the economic analysis of making cocoa powder from cocoa beans (Theobroma Cacao L.) obtained are as follows:

• Total Investment Capital = Rp. 4.514 192.147.044.00

• Total Production Cost = Rp 4.154.065.806-441.00

• Sales Results = Rp 5.109.073.717.152,00

• Net Profit = Rp. 635.135.260.623,00

• Profit Margin (PM) = 17,76%

• Break Even Point (BEP) = 21,48%

• Retum on Investment (ROI) = 14.06%

• Pay Out Time (POT) = 7 tahun 1 bulan

• Internal Rate of Return (IRR) = 14,19%

Based on the results of the analysis of economic aspects, it can be concluded that the factory for manufacturing cocoa powder from cocoa beans (Theobroma Cacao L.) is feasible to establish.
