Omron 3G3JZ-AB007 frequency drive variable monitoring system is a system used to monitor electrical parameters such as current, voltage, power factor, and used frequency in real time. The application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in this system allows clients to remotely access the Omron 3G3JZ-AB007 variable frequency drive. This system works by acquiring Omron 3G3JZ-AB007 variable frequency drive data based on Modbus RTU with the Wemos D1 Mini microcontroller which then sends data to the server using a special IoT protocol, namely MQTT. To ensure the security of these systems, MQTT is combined with the Transport Layer Security (TLS) security protocol. On the other hand, client devices that are also connected to the internet can display all variable data of the Omron 3G3JZ-AB007 frequency drive accompanied by graphics.
From the results of this study, the microcontroller can acquire all data from the Omron 3G3JZ-AB007 variable frequency drive and send it to the server. Furthermore, the use of TLS successfully encrypts data sent using the AES-128 bit algorithm. In this study there was an increase in packet size when using TLS compared to without using TLS. The average packet size sent is 111.78 bytes and all data has been received by the client. Realtime display of variable data of the omron frequency drive 3G3JZ-AB007 successfully updates data every 3 seconds. Then, the results of the Quality of Services (QoS) test between client and server communication obtained 0% packet loss, an average throughput of 171.85 bytes/s, and an average delay of 625 ms.
