Abstract

Art Space is a place for artists or producers engaged in the arts to create music, dance, theatre, and visual arts. This type of art is not limited to the rules, traditions or culture of a region, but is still based on the existing philosophy and principles of fine art. Modern art has been growing until now until we know that technological products have entered the realm of art. Since the COVID-19 pandemic paralyzed several industrial sectors throughout the world, almost all industrial economic sectors have declined drastically due to obstructions to trade routes, both national and international. However, lately the economy has started to wake up again with the recovery of the industrial sector, especially in the creative sector. This industry is growing very rapidly because of technology managed by millennials, who have also stepped in to manage the digital economy. Medan City is the 3rd largest city after Jakarta and Surabaya. This city continues to experience good growth every year including in the economic, industrial, tourism and education sectors. At some point this city will need to develop their art facilities to accommodate their regional, local and international artworks. But unfortunately, no place or container to accommodate this modern art has become an icon and is of less than qualified quality. Therefore, this place is needed to build a business sector in the arts sector as well as a response to technological developments. This digital art exhibition venue will be located in a place that facilitates users according to their needs. This place is expected to be able to create security, comfort and inspire users. Therefore, the right theme for designing this art container is the contemporary architecture theme.
