Hypertension is a non-communicable disease which is one of the main causes of death in the world. Out of a number of hypertension sufferers, only less than one fifth make efforts to control their blood pressure. Based on data from the Humbang Hasundutan District Health Office in 2019 there were 53.004 cases of hypertension and of the total sufferers only 33 percent used health services. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the utilization of health services in patients with hypertension at the health center in Humbang Hasundutan District. This research is a quantitative analytic survey research with a cross sectional design. The sample used was 110 people with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis using simple and multiple logistic regression tests. The results showed that there was an influence between education (p=0,002), employment (p=0,026), income (p=0,003), knowledge (p=0,005), ownership of health insurance (p=0,002) and the need for services (p= <0,001) on the utilization of health services in people with hypertension. There was no effect of age (p=0,078), gender (p=0,866), access to health services (p=0,061) on the utilization of health services in hypertension sufferers. The most influential variables in the utilization of health services in hypertensive patients in this study were the need for services (PR=14,012) education (PR=7,492), knowledge (PR=5,075) and access to health services (PR=3,727) with the probability of occurrence utilization of health services (P=94%). Tuhe conclusion in this study is that there is an influence between education, employment, income, knowledge, ownership of health insurance and the need for services on the utilization of health services in people with hypertension. There is no effect between age, gender, access to health services and utilization of health services in patients with hypertension.
