Peran Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik (Bakesbangpol) Kota Medan dalam Pendidikan Politik Masyarakat Kota Medan

Abstract

State institutions as state bodies or organizations are tasked with carrying out a function determined by a legal system. So that organs or institutions are not only organizations but also people or officials who hold positions based on law as long as their function is clear, namely creating norms or legal systems (norm creating) and/or carrying out norms (norm applying), State institutions that are regulated and formed based on the Constitution (UUD) are constitutional organs, state institutions that are regulated and formed based on the Law (UU). Based on this, the author aims to determine the role of the Badan Kesatuan Bangsa Dan Politik (Bakesbangpol) in political education for the people of Medan City from 2020 to 2023. As well as to analyze the work program of the Badan Kesatuan Bangsa Dan Politik (Bakesbangpol), what are the inhibiting factors or those that can support in carrying out political education for the people of Medan City. Badan Kesatuan Bangsa Dan Politik in accordance with its main tasks and functions is the implementing and supporting body for government affairs covering the fields of national unity and politics. In particular, the role of the Medan City National Unity and Political Agency which is related to political education enters the Domestic Politics Sector as stipulated in Article 19 to Article 22 of Medan Mayor Regulation Number 22 of 2020 concerning Details of the Duties and Functions of the Medan City National Unity and Political Agency.
