Perancangan Sistem Pompa Otomatis untuk Pengaturan Suhu Permukaan Panel Surya Menggunakan Phase Change Meterial
Abstract
Electrical energy is the energy most needed by humans throughout the world for their daily needs. Renewable energy can be used continuously and will not run out. Several sources of renewable energy can be utilized for household and industrial needs. One of the most widely used uses is solar energy. However, the massive use of solar panels has several drawbacks, namely solar panels must operate under standard conditions, solar panels must operate at a solar module temperature value of 25°C to obtain optimal efficiency, so technology is needed. solar panel temperature control system. In this study the authors used phase change material technology as a solar panel surface cooling material. The results showed that water cooling material can reduce the surface temperature of solar panels with a maximum convection heat transfer rate of 5,789.69 joules per second and an increase in solar panel efficiency of around 0.89%, while phase change cooling materials can reduce the surface temperature of solar panels. larger with a maximum convection heat transfer rate of 8,872.13 joules per second and an increase in solar panel efficiency that occurs around 1.37%.
