This research aims to design and implement an automatic switch for transferring electrical power between Solar Power Plants (PLTS) and the national power grid (PLN - Perusahaan Listrik Negara) based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system is designed to maximize the use of renewable energy from PLTS and automatically switch to the PLN power supply when renewable energy is insufficient. Through the use of sensors and IoT technology, this automatic switch monitors the energy production from PLTS and measures the energy demand at the respective location. This data is transmitted to the intelligent control system, which decides whether to use energy from PLTS or switch to the PLN power supply. Additionally, this automatic switch can be accessed and controlled remotely via a mobile application or web interface, providing users with flexibility in optimizing the efficient use of renewable energy. Through the implementation of the automatic switch and IoT, the renewable energy system is evaluated for reliability, efficiency, responsiveness, and communication reliability. This research supports the development of efficient and environmentally friendly renewable energy with IoT-based switches. The IoT system enables remote monitoring and control of the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), with data transmission every 3 seconds. The ATS design from PLTS to PLN functions well for loads of 25W, 65W, and 100W, with a transfer delay of 1 second. Measured voltage and power data, with variations in PLTS voltage influenced by the Inverter output. Power usage information for the load is available through IoT.
