Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of information technology and human resource competence on the effectiveness of accounting information system performance either partially or simultaneously. This research was carried out at the di PT. Bank BNI Divisi Card and Merchant Business Wilayah Medan. This study uses a saturated sample by making all employees in the Card and Merchant Business division as the research sample. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and interviews. The methods used in data analysis include validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that either partially or simultaneously the use of information technology and human resource competence has an effect on the effectiveness of accounting information system performance. the use of technology supported by the competence of human resources will achieve the effectiveness of accounting information system performance.
