    Abstract
Energy is a basic need for humans, which continues to increase in line with their level of life. The use of new energy such as solar energy is still a topic of research today as an alternative energy source so that it can produce electrical energy which is important for human survival. Solar power plants will work optimally in sunny weather conditions, in general the maximum sunlight intensity has a value of 1,000 W/m2 without any obstructions with the recommended solar module temperature value of 25°C and the problems that occur also in the installation of solar panels do not pay too much attention to the tilt angle position and orientation angle and result in not optimal harvesting of electrical energy. This study will analyze the effect of weather using the cloud percentage approach and environmental temperature on the output power of solar panels and will also analyze the effect of tilt angle position and orientation angle on the output power of solar panels. The results showed that the percentage of clouds greatly affects solar irradiation so that there is a decrease in power of around 42.95% with a total power reduction of around 36,855 Wh per year, while the decrease in the output power of solar panels due to ambient temperature is not too significant, namely only around 1.83% with a total decrease the output power is around 1,571.36 Wh per year and also the most optimal position of the solar panel is at a tilt angle of 30° with a generated power of around 7,592.58 Wh per month with an average decrease in output power of around 202.71 Wh per 5° of tilt angle. The most optimal orientation angle at 90° with a generated power of about 6,064.53 Wh per month with an average reduction in output power of about 143.46 Wh per 10° orientation angle.
