Strawberry is a fruit plant that takes the form of an herb and falls under the category of fruits with high economic value. Farmers often encounter issues regarding the availability of high-quality plant seedlings that are resistant to plant diseases. Furthermore, farmers also face challenges due to their limited knowledge of strawberry cultivation. To address the challenges in strawberry cultivation, the utilization of technology such as a smart greenhouse emerges as a potential solution. However, it's acknowledged that employing technology like a smart greenhouse also presents challenges, especially in terms of costs. Therefore, this research will concentrate on developing an economical yet feature-rich technology that can effectively assist farmers in enhancing strawberry plant productivity. The study discusses the system design, ranging from input stages (Light Dependent Resistor sensor, Soil Moisture YL-69 sensor, and LM35 temperature sensor) to output stages (Grow Light, water pump, room heater, and fan). The successfully constructed smart greenhouse system comprises both hardware components and monitoring systems with an Internet of Things (IoT) concept. System testing during plant growth reveals a substantial difference in plant growth between the usage of the smart greenhouse system and without it. With the implementation of the smart greenhouse system, there is an increase of approximately 6.19% in leaf growth, around 4.43% in branch growth, and about 11.47% in fruit growth. The smart greenhouse system offers an economical cost with maximum features compared to available smart greenhouses in the market.
