    Abstract
Southeast Aceh Regency, which has natural potential that can be utilized in the tourism sector as a commodity sector that has a very strong influence on the community's economy. The most important thing in tourism development to obtain optimal results is collaboration with various parties, for example traditional leaders and government officials themselves. Leuser village requires community participation in developing tourist attractions directly so that the local wisdom and traditional cultures of the community become tourist attractions and become part of tourism activities. To obtain research data the author used a purposive sampling technique with a total of 6 informants consisting of community leaders, village heads, tourist attraction managers and tourist attraction workers. The research results show that awareness and willingness to participate arise due to the will of individual members of the community, age is a factor that influences a person's attitude towards existing community activities. Work and income cannot be separated from each other because a person's job will determine how much income they will earn. The length of time a person lives greatly influences their environment, community members who stay longer will tend to be more active in the participation process. Community members who live longer will have a greater sense of belonging to the environment. Community solidarity in participating in building this tourist attraction is due to regulations that bind individuals to the community where every work of the community is mutually sustainable in Leuser tourism.
