dc.description.abstractThe governor is a control system that can adjust the turbine rotation value manually or automatically to maintain the stability of the entire system against load variations or system disturbances. In this thesis, the design of an automatic control system uses a crossflow turbine. The automatic governor has an arduino base which is equipped with a rotary encoder sensor and a servo motor as an actuator that moves the guidevane to the desired angle of motion. Arduino has a function as a guidevane openening angle regulator. The results of this test show that the guidevane angle has a control angle motion limit of 45° from the 0° corner point. In this PLTMH, the results are directly proportional to the power generated by increasing the number of loads, of 1.156 watts – 3.385 watts by increasing the load of 0-5 LEDs. Thus it can be concluded that the controller can be applied to the crossflow turbine settings.en_US
