Perancangan Rumah Susun Tipe 27 dan 54 di Kawasan Industri Kota Medan
Abstract
By providing MBR with basic rental flats (RUSUNAWA), the city of Medan is working to
reduce the number of uninhabitable homes and provide habitable homes. The inability to buy
or rent a home to live in, especially in industrial regions where there is a high demand for
housing, is what is causing the city of Medan, which is become more and more crowded, and
the rising number of slum lower-class inhabitants' housing areas. This is because both
residents and people who move there to work in the city's industrial region, Medan, are
responsible for it. The design of these apartments is anticipated to be a way to reduce slum
settlements in the city of Medan, save urban land use, and provide a place to live. The design
of the building shape and the environmental layout of the building area must be able to meet
the needs of the apartment's occupants when an apartment building is being planned. With a
focus on livable housing for low-income people, particularly workers, and meeting standards
in housing needs, it is hoped that the design of these flats is also responsive to user needs, can
provide comfort to its users, and can create a friendly environment with a tropical architectural
approach.
