Abstract

Humans are born as social beings, a fact that shows that existence cannot be separated from interactions between individuals and other individuals. The interaction that occurs comes from a direct or indirect communication process that occurs in two directions. In an effort to realize this social interaction, a physical space is needed that can be accessed easily and comfortably by all individuals, serving as a means to improve social relations between people. On the other hand, indirect communication requires internet-based media or mail. The human need for a means to socialize has the potential to create containers that are able to produce individuals who have superior quality, which can be an important asset in facing the challenges of globalization and various problems that exist in the current era. One way to improve the quality of human resources is to provide facilities equipped with educational facilities and other supporters. So, the building planning will adopt the concept of public reading space supported by open space, with a green architecture approach to provide comfort for users. This building concept will be implemented by using vegetation and building materials that are environmentally friendly and energy efficient.
