Analisis Jumlah Tenaga Kerja Optimal pada Instalasi Farmasi Rumah Sakit Pendidikan Prof. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis Berdasarkan Pendekatan NASA-TLX dan Perhitungan Waktu Kerja
Abstract
Prof. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis Education Hospital started operating in 2016
under North Sumatra University's auspices. The hospital currently has several units, 1
of them is Pharmacy Installation which every year there is an increase in the number
of visitors from general patients and BPJS. The number of patients served by the
pharmacy installation every day is around 330 patients. On average, patients come not
only for treatment, but visitors also buy medicine and extend drug prescriptions. The
problem that occurred in the Pharmacy Installation is the lack of manpower, especially
in outpatient services. Workers in outpatient services often do multiple jobs and work
beyond their regular time and must finish compounding accompanying medication in
accordance with the assessment recipe. This study aims to determine the workload
category of the Hospital Pharmacy Installation workforce and the optimal number of
workers using the NASA-TLX. The results of the study found that all outpatient service
Pharmacy Installation workers had a NASA TLX score above 81,000 with a very high
mental load category, 4 out of 6 people worked beyond operating hours, 1 out of 6
people worked according to regulations, and operating hours, one person worked in
under the regulations and operating hours stipulated by the Hospital and calculating
the optimal number of nursing staff in accordance with the Standards for Nursing Staff
at the Hospital Directorate of Nursing & Medical Engineering, Ministry of Health of
the Republic of Indonesia so that the optimal number of workers is nine people.
