dc.description.abstractThis research is motivated by the discovery of several problems happened to students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of North Sumatra. Many students whose academic achievements are considered not good, such as their GPA scores which are below 3.0 and have not been able to master the subjects they have studied. This is caused by internal and external factors in the form of self-regulation, peer environment and use of social media. The sample in this study amounted to 107 people using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the use of social media has the highest coefficient of determination value of 0.414, followed by peer environment of 0.189 and self-regulation has the least influence of 0.001. Self-regulation, peer environment, and simultaneous use of social media have a positive and significant effect on the Academic Achievement of USU's Faculty of Economics and Business undergraduate students.en_US
