| dc.description.abstract | To find out the potential for developing water treatment units at the Hamparan Perak IPA Water
Treatment Plant and to determine the development of the Hamparan Perak service area (IPA),
and to find out the availability of raw water capacity of PDAM Tirta Deli in Hamparan Perak
District, Deli Serdang Regency with a SPAM development plan. So it is necessary to do a
research, namely by analyzing primary data which will be included in a population projection
and water demand projection, as well as analyzing the existing network and network
development using the EPANET 2.0 application. Based on the results of the analysis that has
been carried out, it is obtained that the number of people who reached 100,000 people in 2019
was 95,306 with a production capacity of 60 liters/second, PDAM Tirta Deli unit Hamparan
Perak District is still able to serve customers with service targets at the end of the projected year
reaching 48% or totaling 116,350 soul. In Hamparan Perak District, the total water demand is
67,127 m3/month with 3,197 house connections and if averaged, the water demand for each
customer is 21 m3/month. After projecting water demand for 100% service coverage with a
production capacity of 60 liters/second, that is until 2026 with a total water demand of 55.50
liters/second. And the result of the execution of the EPANET program is a success, where water
flows throughout the customers served. The results show that the highest pressure value is 23.80
meters and the lowest pressure value is 10.28 meters. The drainage system uses a pump and the
existing distribution pipe has a size of 150 mm for the primary pipe, 100 mm for the secondary
pipe and 50 mm for the tertiary pipe with PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) pipe type. | en_US |
