Perancangan Business Intelligence Dashboard sebagai Pendukung Analisis dan Pengambilan Keputusan terhadap Evaluasi Kinerja Supplier Crude Palm Oil (CPO) di PT. XYZ
Abstract
Supplier performance evaluation is conducted to determine whether
suppliers can meet requirements as stipulated. In the palm oil industry, the
evaluation of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) supplier performance is a crucial step in
maintaining the quality of the final products. PT. XYZ is a company that focuses on
processing CPO into various industrial and consumer products, including cooking
oil. The company has found that some suppliers have a history of contract violations
yet continue to engage in partnerships with PT. XYZ. This situation may be
attributed to the current decision-making tools' inability to fully optimize decisionmaking
at PT. XYZ regarding relationships with these suppliers based on their
performance. In its operational activities, the company lacks a tool that can actively
monitor supplier performance and be accessible to suppliers, allowing them to
understand how closely the company monitors the CPO shipments. This research
aims to design a Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboard to monitor CPO supplier
performance at PT. XYZ, serving as a tool to support decision-making regarding
relationships with CPO suppliers using Microsoft Power BI. The design of the BI
Dashboard using Microsoft Power BI follows the ETL process, data modeling,
visualization design, and dashboard presentation. By exploring performance
indicators and visualizing data related to CPO shipment quantities, contract status,
as well as CPO quality standards and data, this dashboard provides real-time
information that facilitates better decision-making for the company. It enhances
collaboration and transparency in relationships with suppliers, contributing to
improved contract management and fostering strong, long-term relationships
between PT. XYZ and its suppliers.
