dc.description.abstract | Procurement is one area that plays a role in improving business processes in which there is a process of purchasing and controlling stock of goods. In the process of procuring raw materials, there is an opportunity for risks to arise. Risk is the possibility of an event or event that will cause a loss. In the procurement process must consider the existence of risks so as not to cause non-maximum in the production process. PTPN IV Adolina Plantation Unit is a palm oil processing company from Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) to Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel (PK). The problem faced by the company is the occurrence of excess and shortage of availability of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). This will cause losses to the company. The purpose of this study is to analyze and mitigate the risks that occur in the FFB procurement system so as to minimize potential risks by providing an effective action. This research was conducted using the House of Risk (HOR) method. Based on the risk identification that has been done, there are 12 risk events and 19 risk agents. In the results of the House of Risk (HOR) phase 1, there were 7 priority risk agents. Based on the processing of House of Risk (HOR) phase 2, 5 risk mitigation strategies are produced that can be implemented by the company. The sequence results of the proposed risk mitigation strategy are providing counseling to improve worker performance, making policies according to world FFB prices, contract clauses with suppliers being emphasized, finding new suppliers, and monitoring the quality of raw materials from suppliers. | en_US |
