    Abstract
Nowadays the fulfillments rights of persons with disabilities is only based on compassionate or charity. Even though people with disabilities have the same rights in life, in reality, there are a lot of stigmas that say that people with disabilities are considered unproductive in society and unable to carry out their responsibilities, so their rights are often ignored and tend to be belittled and even receive discriminatory treatment. Discrimination against persons with disabilities is not only in public facilities that do not provide adequate access, especially the access to fulfil their basic needs as an individual, independently. Semangat Market is designed using an inclusive design theme that concerns social issues and forms a more just society by providing more equitable economic opportunities while increasing the number of potential customers as well as ensuring that persons with disabilities can live independently. In order to fulfill the lack of market function and adapt to one of the target design subjects, namely people with disabilities, Semangat Market, located in Medan Polonia, is one of the ways in accommoding and providing the rights of accessibilities for them, to participate in life community so as to support their equality and opportunities to develop, honing skills and earn their own income. Semangat Market is a concept that provides full and effective participation for persons with disabilities in society so that they can fulfill their daily needs by ensuring that appropriate housing and support is available.
