    Abstract
Until now, many reinforced concrete constructions use deep beams. deep beam planning often uses analytical concepts. In addition, it often also uses the Strut-and-Tie Model (STM) concept. STM-based planning is already accommodated by certain software. However, neither analytical nor STM-based planning can provide or produce the behavior of deep beams due to the applied load, such as the behavior of the load-deflection relationship. In this research, the structural behavior of deep beams due to applied loads based on Finite Element Modeling (FEM)-based simulations using Ansys and Abaqus will be studied. The structural behavior in question is the relationship between load and deflection. This research activity aims to optimize the use of FEM to predict the structural behavior of high beams without having to conduct experimental studies. Based on the results of the FEM analysis using Ansys, the prediction of the load capacity of the deep beam has an error rate between 1.5-3.77%. While based on the use of Abaqus software shows an error rate of 1-2%. Meanwhile, for the prediction value of high beam deflection capacity, the use of Ansys software gives an error value of 2.11-5.12%. Meanwhile, the Abaqus software showed an error rate between 0.26-3.32%. In modeling the deep beam by changing the av/h value, using Ansys the load was 129.270 kN and the deflection was 2.557 mm. While the Abaqus software shows a load of 125.908kN and a deflection of 2.624 mm. In changing the Ln/h value, using Ansys the load amounted to 187,860 kN and a deflection of 2,247 mm. While Abaqus software showed a load of 191,013 and a deflection of 2,288 mm. The results of Ansys and Abaqus-based FEM analysis and modeling provide good accuracy.
