    Abstract
Introduction. Bladder cancer has a percentage of 3% of all. In addition, bladder cancer is one of the most common cancers in the urinary tract. High-grade bladder cancer has the worst prognosis and higher recurrence rates compared to low-grade bladder cancer. Thus, the grade of bladder cancer will affect patient prognosis tremendously. Several studies have recognized that NLR may predict worse histopathological characteristics in multitude of oncology disease. Our study aims to observed NLR ability to predict those in urothelial carcinoma. Method. This research is a observational analytic with a retrospective approach using medical records done on single healthcare centre. Univariate, bivariate and correlation statistics will be used to determine correlation and demographic characteristics analysis. ROC analysis will be used to determine NLR diagnostic capabilities. Results. Our studies collected 75 eligible samples into analysis. In this study the mean NLR of patients was 7.49 with a standard deviation of 5.9. The analysis of ROC shows that AUC of the NLR value was 0.817 and at a cut-off value of 4.5, a sensitivity of 86.8% and a specificity of 70.2% were found. Lastly, a moderate positive and moderate correlation (p-value <0.001 and r = 0.552) was found between NLR and histopathological characteristics. Conclusion. We found that higher NLR was associated with high-grade urothelial carcinoma. NLR could be used as auxiliary tool in predicting urothelial carcinoma histopathological characteristics.
