Analisis Nilai Manfaat Ekonomi Langsung Tanaman Aren (Arenga pinnata Meer) di Desa Sibalanga, Kecamatan Garoga, Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara
Abstract
Aren is a non-timber forest product that has potential economic value and is of high value, because all parts of the plant, including stems, leaves, fruit, and fibers, can be used and developed as products that can increase people's income. In Sibalanga village, Garoga sub-district, North Tapanuli regency, many people use sugar palm plants to make sap, palm wine, brown sugar, palm fiber, rope polang, and kolang kaling. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the value of the direct economic benefits of each processed Aren (Arenga pinnata) product and its contribution to people's income in Sibalanga Village, Garoga District, North Tapanuli. The research method used is to calculate income based on market prices. The results of the study obtained 130 respondents, consisting of 49 respondents from Dusun I Huta Baru, 56 respondents from Dusun II Onan Ria, and 25 respondents from Dusun III Parhudonan. Acquisition of direct economic value results from the aggregation of all processed sugar palm products in Dusun I amounted to Rp.852.714.450/year, Dusun II is Rp.710.701.044/year and Dusun III is Rp. 363.403.676/year.
