Analisis Kerapatan Tegakan Mangrove dan Partisipasi Kelompok Tani dalam Upaya Pelestarian Ekosistem Hutan Mangrove di Desa Pasar Rawa, Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Mangrove forests play an important role in the lives of coastal communities. The condition of the Mangrove Forest which requires very little special attention in its conservation efforts. Before conservation is carried out, it is necessary to carry out a density analysis and farmer group participation to determine the level of density and willingness of farmer groups in planting activities. This study aims to analyze the level of density of Mangrove Forest and the level of farmer participation in Pasar Rawa Village. Research data collection was carried out using direct field survey methods, interviews with farmer groups and density analysis methods. Questionnaire data processing using the Likert Scale method with a scale of 1-3. Meanwhile, the processing of density analysis data uses the density calculation method. The results of this study obtained 9 types of mangrove vegetation constituents. The density level of Mangrove Forest in Pasar Rawa Village is 1,487 ind/ha in good condition with moderate criteria. The level of participation of farmer groups is 87.2 indicating that farmer groups agree and are ready to help in planting, maintaining and monitoring Mangrove Forests
