| dc.description.abstract | Indonesia is a tropical country that has relatively high humidity so it is very
supportive of mushroom growth. Mushrooms have various functions besides being
used as medicinal materials, they also play a role in maintaining the balance of
the ecosystem. One of the forest areas that is a mushroom habitat is KPH Region
IX Panyabungan. Research on mushrooms in KPH Region IX has never been
done before. This study aims to determine the types of mushrooms that exist in
KPH Region IX Panyabungan, to determine the benefits of mushrooms and the
environmental conditions of mushroom habitats in KPH Region IX. The data
collection method was carried out with mushroom exploration techniques in the
field. The method of processing mushroom habitat data was carried out using
Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The results showed that there were 54
species of mushroom consisting of 2 divisions, 4 classes, 11 orders, 26 families,
and 43 genus with saprophytic mushroom found as much as 90.91%,
ectomycorrhizal fungi as much as 7.27%, and saprophytic and ectomycorrhizal
mushroom as much as 1.82%. The correlation between the number of species with
light intensity (-0.133), temperature (-0.127) and slope (-0.432) is negative
meaning that the higher the light intensity, temperature and slope, the number of
fungal species will decrease. While the relationship between pH (0.197), altitude
(0.255) and humidity (0.395) is positive, meaning that the higher the pH, altitude
and humidity, the number of fungal species found will increase. | en_US |
