    Legenda Tao Silalahi dan Pengaruhnya Bagi Pelaksanaan Upacara Ritual Masyarakat Desa Silalahi III Kecamatan Silahisabungan Kabupaten Dairi (Kajian Antropologi Sastra)

    Abstract
    The purpose of this research is to describe (1) the structure that builds the Tao Silalahi legend, (2) the ritual elements in the Tao Silalahi legend, and (3) the influence of the Tao Silalahi legend on the implementation of ritual ceremonies in the Silalahi III village community, Silahisabungan district, Dairi district. The data in this research is the legend of Tao Silalahi while the data sources are sources as primary data sources and documents and articles as secondary data sources. The data collection technique is the interview technique. The data analysis technique is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research are (1) the legend of Tao Silalahi has building blocks, namely facts (there are 21 characters, a flashback plot, and the social setting of the kingdom in the past) and the theme of anger defeated by goodness; (2) there are three ritual elements, namely offerings, sacrifices, prayers; and (3) the results of this research show that there is an influence of the Tao Silalahi legend on the rituals of the people of Silalahi III village, Silahisabungan sub-district, Dairi district, namely a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation and is even repeatedly carried out by the descendants of King Silahisabungan in Silalahi III Village, namely praying to Mula Jadi Nabolon and As a form of their obedience, ritual ceremonies are carried out which are believed to keep them away from bad things, and they feel that their ancestors will bless their lives.
