Analisis Naskah Jalan Ma’rifah: Kajian Filologi

Abstract

This research discusses the Manuscript Analysis of “Jalan Ma'rifah”: A Philological Study. The problems of this research are (1) related to the description of the “Jalan Ma'rifah” manuscript, (2) and the text editing and text content of the “Jalan Ma'rifah” manuscript. The purpose of this research is to (1) know the description of “Jalan Ma'rifah” manuscript, (2) know the text editing and the content of “Jalan Ma'rifah” manuscript. This research is a library research by applying philological steps. The method used in this thesis is to use philological research steps. Among them are: manuscript inventory, manuscript description, text editing and content analysis. The theory used is philology proposed by Oman Fathurahman. Based on the results of research on the manuscript of Jalan Ma'rifah by Sheikh Yusuf Misri, it was found that this manuscript explains the way to know Allah. Furthermore, the condition of the manuscript is still in good condition and the writing can still be read so it is still easy to transliterate but there are still some words that are difficult to read. The paper used in the making of this “Jalan Ma'rifah” manuscript uses European paper that is already yellow in color and no paper stamp is found. The manuscript in the object of this study is concluded by the researcher that the “Jalan Ma'rifah” manuscript contains procedures for recognizing and getting closer to Allah Swt. The way to know Allah Swt is by knowing yourself from every human being. The conclusion that can be given beforehand is that this text explains the importance of knowing the breath which is four things, namely breath, anfas, tanafas, and nufus as a way of knowing Allah Swt.
