Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Soft Skills, Hard Skills, and Training on Job Readiness (Case Study of Tourism Vocational Training Participants at the Medan Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP). The population in this study was 96 Vocational Tourism training participants at the Medan Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP) for the period June-July 2023. The results of this study indicate that Soft Skills, Hard Skills, and Training have a significant effect on the Readiness of Tourism Vocational training participants at the Medan Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP). The results of the study partially show that Training as the first dominant variable has a positive and significant effect on the Readiness for Vocational Tourism training participants at the Medan Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP). The results of the study partially show that Soft Skill as the second dominant variable has a positive and significant effect on the Readiness for Vocational Tourism training participants at the Medan Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP). The results of the study partially show that Hard Skill as the third dominant variable has a positive and significant effect on the Readiness for Vocational Tourism training participants at the Medan Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP).
