The food estate was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on 27 October 2020

potatoes). The food estate has an area of 215 ha. Regulations related to social
forestry management provide an opportunity for communities that already have
social forestry management permits/approvals to utilize forest areas reserved for
FOOD ESTATE development. This study aims to determine the effect of the farming
system directly on the welfare of farmers and the farming system on the welfare of
farmers through increasing the institutional capacity of farmers. The method used
in this study is the SEM Analysis Method using the Smart PLS software. The results
obtained are significant results to have a direct effect on the farming system on the
welfare of farmers. On the other hand, the results from the SEM analysis of the
farming system on the welfare of farmers through increasing the institutional
capacity of farmers also obtained significant results. Therefore, both the Farming
Business System, Farmer Institutional Capacity Building, and Farmer Welfare
have an influence on each other and need to improve in the future. | en_US |
