    Abstract
    The purpose of designing this tool is to know the working principle of the designed tool, know the function of the components of the designed tool, and compare the folding time using the MG995 servo based on Arduino Uno with the prototype-based shirt folders. The working principle of this tool The working principle of this research is first when turning on the LCD tool will also light up with the writing in the LCD "putting clothes on a white container" after that by bringing objects or objects closer to the HCSR-04 ultrasonic sensor with a distance below 15 cm, the sensor sends a signal to the LCD and sends a command to the servo motor to fold the clothes, then the servo will move the fabric folding arm, during the folding process the LCD will display the folding process. As for the function of the tool components, namely the Arduino Uno functions as a controller of all components, the HCSR-04 ultrasonic sensor functions as a distance detector, servo motor as a driver, Liquid crystal display as an output viewer from the system, the regulator functions to adjust the incoming voltage, the capacitor functions as a listirik charge storage or electric power storage. The test results carried out on the clothes folding machine model were obtained folding as many as 20 clothes in 144 seconds. Experiments with the prototype of folding clothes produce neatly folded clothes and take 25 seconds for each garment with an average folding of 7.2 seconds while the research tool carried out using Arduino Uno with MG995 servo drive produces time with an average of 6.1 seconds for 6 clothes that have been studied.
