Virtual Reality Tjong A Fie Menggunakan Gamification dengan Algoritma Knuth Shuffle

Abstract

The city of Medan is one of the largest cities in Indonesia, located in the province of Sumatra. The city of Medan is a symbol and a valuable asset where Medan has many aspects and cultural history of the people such as Malay, Batak, Javanese, Minangkabau and Chinese. Where in the city of Medan itself can still be found some historical relics of their ancestors, both from monuments, heirlooms, and buildings that have history and historical value. One of the historical relics that is quite well known by the people of Medan City is Tjong A Fie. Tjong A Fie is a historic building where the owner is a figure who is known to have an influence on infrastructure or development in the city of Medan. However, as time goes on, today's generation is less familiar with Tjong A Fie due to the lack of tourism to historical relics. Therefore, the author tries to find a solution to this problem, which is where the author wants the current generation to know more about the history of Tjong A Fie, namely by producing a virtual tour application for Tjong A Fie. Which is where the application can be used anywhere and anytime. The application uses the gamification method with the knuth shuffle algorithm, so that it can give the impression that when the user is used, the user is not only on tour, but like playing a game
