Etnobotani Tanaman Obat Masyarakat Desa Aek Guo Kecamatan Batang Natal Kabupaten Mandailing Natal
Abstract
Aek Guo Village is one of the villages under the supervision of KPH IX Panyabungan. This village is inhabited by indigenous people of the Mandailing tribe. Most of the residents of Aek Guo Village work as farmers who depend on the forest for their livelihood. One of the uses made by the Aek Guo community is the use of medicinal plants as an alternative treatment with ethnobotanical knowledge passed down from generation to generation. The purposes of this study are to determine the types of medicinal plants, how to use them, and the Use Value (UV), Family Use Value (FUV), Plant Part Value (PPV) and Fidelity Level (FL) of the medicinal plants used. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative with data collection through semi-structured interviews and documentation. Found 66 species belonging to 36 families that are used by the Aek Guo community for 26 types of medication. The highest UV value was Ginger (Zingiber officinale) (0.68) and the lowest was Paku Gajah (Angiopteris evecta) (0.01). The highest FUV value was from the Fabaceae family (0.39) and the lowest was Simaroubaceae (0.01). The highest PPV value is leaves (47.93%) and the lowest is flowers (0.86%). The highest FL values for Cat's Whiskers (Ortoshipon aristatus) and Ginger (Zingiber officinale) (22.54%) and the lowest FL values for Jerangau (Acorus calamus), Pasak Bumi (Eurycoma longifolia), Salam (Syzigium polyanthum), and Paku Gajah (Angiopteris evecta) (1.41%).
