Pengadaan Bahan Pustaka Tercetak di SMAS HKBP Sidorame Medan

Abstract

The objective of this research is to reveal how printed library collections printed in library of the private senior high school HKBP Sidorame Medan are procured. Library collection procurement activities refers to the activity carried out by the library to update information required by users. Libraries collects its materialsby means procurement. Procurement is divided into three types, namely: 1.) Purchase, 2.) Exchange, and 3.) Gifts/Donations. This research employs qualitative data collection method by conducting observation at the library of the private senior highschool HKBP Sidorame Medan, interviews with Head the library of the private senior high school HKBP Sidorame Medan, and documentation al the library of the private senior high school HKBP Sidorame Medan. The findings explain whot types of procurement are carried out in the libra,y of the private senior high school HKBP Sidorame Medan. Three typers of procurement are found, they are: J.) purchasing from book publisher,s2.) collecting self-published materials from the head of the library who makes cooperation with several experts, 3.) Donation from HKBP Sidorame Education Foundation Medan and the Education Agency of Medan.
