    Pengaruh ZPT Alami Larutan Tauge dan Larutan Bawang Merah terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman Terung (Solanum melongena L.) Hasil Panen Petani

    Abstract
    Eggplant farmers often grow eggplant commodities using seeds harvested from their farms or from eggplant purchased at traditional markets. Problems with agricultural seeds include non-uniform germination of eggplant seeds, as well as low germination of eggplant seeds and the seed dormancy. Natural growt regulator soaking treatment can be given to seeds so that the dormancy level can be reduced and the percentage of sprouts remains high. And it is hoped that it can help improve the viability and increase the yield of eggplant plants (Solanum melongena L.). The aim of this research was to determine the effect of natural growth regulator from bean sprouts solution and shallot solution on the growth and yield of farmers' crops of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). This research was carried out from May to August 2023 on Jalan Harmonika Baru, Medan Baru District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province at an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level. The design used in this research was prepared in a Factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of 3 replications with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is control natural zpt (P0), Bean Sprout Extract: Water (P1), Onion Solution: Water (P2), Bean Sprout Solution: Onion Solution: Water (P3). The second factor is the soaking time, namely the soaking time is 9 hours (L1), the soaking time is 12 hours (L2), the soaking time is 15 hours (L3). The research results showed that natural growth regulator treatment had a significant effect on plant height parameters of 2-4 weeks after transplanting, number of leaves 2-3 weeks after transplanting, and root length. Long soaking time had a significant effect on root lenght. The interaction of natural growth regulator and soaking time had no significant effect on all parameters
