| dc.description.abstract | This final paper research is conducted in the Archive Office of Universitas Sumatera Utara. This paper aims to find out the archival facilities and infrastructure in the Archive Office of Universitas Sumatera Utara by using the data collection methods of literature review, interview, and documentation. The result finds that there are three requirements of archival facilities and infrastructure, namely: 1) the archive building already has facilities and infrastructure requirements that manage the location and archive storage building which is constructed in accordance with the provisions of the law. 2) The rooms at the Archives Office of Universitas Sumatera Utara are divided into 2, namely 13 rooms on the first floor and 11 rooms on the second floor. There are 13 rooms located on the 1st floor, namely: acquisition room, archive management room, archive management staff room, toilet, kitchen, reading room, external service room, archive processing room, archive transit room, static archive room, warehouse, toilet, and archive room in active. There are 11 rooms located on the 2nd floor, namely: archive transit room, archive office studio, archival information system room, head room of archive office, server room, new media archive storage room, equipment and inventory room, meeting room, archive gallery room, prayer room, and toilet. 3) Equipment at the Archives Office of Universitas Sumatera Utara located on the 1st floor, namely: face detector, smoke detector, exhaust fan in the toilet, Roll O Pack cabinet, iron rack, filling cabinet, cartographic cabinet (horizontal filling), trolly, filing cabinet, file boxes, fire extinguishers, paper cutters, air conditioners, and paper shredders. Meanwhile, the equipment at the Archives Office of Universitas Sumatera Utara located on the 2nd floor namely: projector, scanner, exhaust fan in the meeting room, paper shredder, ladder, hanging map, guide map, green folders, filing cabinets, file boxes. | en_US |
