    Abstract
Ultisol soils dominate most parts of Indonesia, this soil type has the main problem of containing low P and C-Organic nutrients. This type of soil is widely used as a sweet corn plantation, but with intensive use of inorganic fertilizers. So another effort was made to increase the phosphorus and C-Organic content of the ultisol soil by adding organic fertilizers such as goat manure biochar and goat manure. This research aims to determine the effect of providing biochar and goat manure + SP-36 fertilizer, getting the best form of goat manure and the best combination of SP-36 fertilizer doses on the status of C-Organic, Phosphorus and the growth of sweet corn (Zea mays Saccharata Sturt L.) on ultisol soil. This research was conducted on the experimental land of Namo Rambe Subdistrict and the Laboratory of the North Sumatra Agricultural Technology Assessment Center from March to June 2023. This study used a non-factorial randomized group design (RAK) with treatments: K: SP-36 fertilizer 150 kg/ha (100% dose), B1: goat manure biochar 20 tons/ha + SP-36 112.5 kg/ha (75% dose), B2: goat manure biochar 20 tons/ha + SP-36 75 kg/ha (50% dose), P1: goat manure 20 tons/ha + SP-36 112.5 kg/ha (75% dose), and P2: goat manure 20 tons/ha + SP-36 75 kg/ha (50% dose). The results of this study indicate that goat manure biochar and goat manure have the same good effect in increasing soil C-Organic, soil P-available, soil pH, plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, crown wet weight and crown dry weight. The best treatment is goat manure at a dose of 20 tons/ha + SP-36 75 kg/ha (50% of the recommended dose).
