Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Bulbil Tanaman Porang (Amorphophallus muelleri Blume) terhadap Pemberian Air Kelapa dan Fitosan
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of bulbil growth of porang plants
(Amorphophallus muelleri Blume) on the provision of coconut water and phytosan.
This research was conducted at Jl. Marelan 3 Pasar 3 Barat, Medan Marelan
District, Medan City, North Sumatra with an altitude of ± 32 meters above sea level
(masl) from January to March 2023. This study used a Randomized Group Design
(RAK) with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the concentration of coconut
water soaking (0%; 25%; 50%; and 75%). The second factor is phytosan immersion
concentration (0 ppm; 750 ppm; 1500 ppm; and 2250 ppm). The results showed
that coconut water soaking treatment had a significant effect on the age of bud
emergence, and had no significant effect on the parameters of vigor index, number
of buds, plant height, stem diameter, age of leaf exit, and number of leaves.
Phytosan soaking treatment significantly affects the growth of plant height 4 weeks
after planting, 5 weeks after planting, 6 weeks after planting, 11 weeks after
planting, stem diameter 11 weeks after planting, and has no significant effect on the
variables of vigor index, budding time, number of buds, age of leaf emergence, and
number of leaves. The interaction of coconut water immersion and phytosan had
no significant effect on vigor index, budding time, number of buds, plant height,
stem diameter, age of leaf emergence and number of leaves.
