his research aims to evaluate several herbicides in controlling
Syngonium podophyllum in oil palm plantations (Elaeis guinensis Jacq). The
study was conducted from November 2021 to January 2022. The study used a
non-factorial randomized block design consisting of 9 treatments and 3
replications, namely: glyphosate (A) 1080 g a.e./ha; topramezone (B) 336 g
a.e./ha; fluroxypyr (C) 448 g a.e./ha; florpyrauxifen-benzyl (D) 25 g a.e./ha;
florpyrauxifen-benzyl + cyhalofop-butyl (E) 25 + 55 g a.e./ha; glyphosate +
florpyrauxifen-benzyl (F) 126 +14 g a.e./ha; fluroxypyr + florpyrauxifen-benzyl
(G) 157 + 14 g a.e./ha ; MSM + florpyrauxifen-benzyl (H) 15 + 14 g a.e./ha;
control (I). The parameters observed were the level of damage dry weight, and the
rate of regrowth of Syngonium podophyllum. The results showed that the highest
level of damage to Syngonium podophyllum found in plot treated with MSM +
florpyrauxifen-benzyl 15 + 14 g a.i./ha. The lowest dry weight of surviving
Syngonium podophyllum was in treatment H (MSM + florpyrauxifen-benzyl 15 +
14 g a.i./ha). The lowest rate of regrowth was in treatment H (MSM +
florpyrauxifen-benzyl 15 + 14 g a.i./ha).
