Isolasi dan Identifikasi Mikroskopis Jamur dari Kompleks Jaringan Terinfeksi Penyakit Layu pada Tanaman Bayam Jepang (Spinacia oleracea L.) dan Uji Patogenesitas Secara Invivo
Abstract
This research was aimed to detect pathogenic fungi from
tissue complexes of wilt disease on Japanese Spinach plants(Spinacia oleracea L.)
and invivo pathogenicity test. The research was conducted at the Plant Disease
Laboratory of the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture,
Universitas Sumatera Utara, Medan and in the agricultural land in Sempajaya
Village Kec. Berastagi Regency Karo from December 2020 to October2022. This
research used a completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial 5 treatment
which came from infected Japanese spinach plant tissue, with the following
treatments (F1,F2,F3,F4 and F5) each reolicate consisted of 3 experimental units.
The results of the research showed that the isolation and microscopic
identification of 4 Fusarium isolates were found, each isolate differed
microscopically in several characteristics of macroconidia, microconidia and
chlamydiospores. Invivo pathogenicity test of 4 Fusarium isolates, respectively
Fusarium spp.,1, Fusarium spp.,2, Fusarium spp.,3, dan Fusarium spp.,4. Shows
that isolates of Fusarium spp.,1, and Fusarium spp.,2 are pathogenic to Japanese
spinach plants, causing disease severity up to 100 %.
