dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research was to identify the morphological characterictics of kepok banana in Secanggang district, Langkat Regency. The research was conducted in Secanggang district, Langkat regency from November 2022 until March 2023, data was identified by descriptive survey method based on banana descriptor of International Plant Genetic Resources Institute (IPGRI) with sampling technique using purposive sampling. The result of this research showed that in Langkat regency there were 27 genotypes of kapok banana been identified. The morpohological characteristics found were the state of the leaf condition (erect and medium), pseudostem color (green-yellow), lead surface color (dark green), heart shape (medium-shaped, round and ovoid), bract outer surface color (red purple), flesh color (white).The closest phylogenetic relationship was A2P4S4S and A2P5S5 with the nearest distance value 0,000 and farthest relationship was A1P1S1 and A1P2S2 with coefficient dissmilarity 62,276. | en_US |
