| dc.description.abstract | The writing of this final project was carried out at the Medan State Polytechnic Library. The purpose of writing this thesis is to find out the behavior of vandalism at the Medan State Polytechnic Library. The methods used in writing are library research, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the writing show that there was vandalism in the Medan State Polytechnic Library by the users, the forms of vandalism carried out in the Medan State Polytechnic library included scribbles or desecration using ballpoint pens, markers, stabilizers, or colored pencils, page folding certain; Tear on a particular page. Vandalism behavior on library materials in the Medan State Polytechnic library is an act that damages or disrupts the integrity, integrity, and functionality of library materials. The results of this writing observation show that the number of books that have experienced vandalism in the Medan State Polytechnic library in the last three years is 493 copies. So it can be concluded that the behavior of vandalism at the Medan State Polytechnic Library requires prevention efforts, namely the installation of electronic security in order to increase the security of library materials. | en_US |
